The chiropractors at SB Chiro (near Oran Park) are the core of our multidisciplinary team.
A vertebrae that’s slightly out of alignment can have very serious knock-on effects in other parts of your body. Sometimes it only causes pain around that vertabrae, but in many cases it causes muscles to tighten, and creates referred pain elsewhere. As a result of the pain and muscle tightness your posture might change which creates its own problems.
Therefore, regardless of where you’re feeling acute pain, our chiropractors conduct a thorough assessment in order to locate and diagnose your issues. Then they’ll use Chiropractic adjustments and possibly other treatment modalities to properly align your spine and optimize your health.
All of our Chiropractors are able to use a technique called dry needling, if they feel it is needed. It is the process of inserting fine, sterile acupuncture needles into trigger points or big knots in the muscle.
Dry needling is a method of directly treating the neuromuscular system to affect muscle tightness and reduce symptoms of pain and irritation.
Chiropractors can use dry needling to treat the following issues:
Our Chiropractors can also utilize a technique called Cupping. The cupping technique has been used for many years. It involves creating suction over the area of pain/discomfort through the use of special cups. It can be used for a number of reasons including:
At our Gledswood Hills clinic, which is only a couple of minutes from Oran Park, we have a team of four chiropractors who are passionate about helping you become pain-free and get back your full range of movement.
